Nice Build!
The guys at Cycle Options Trading, FireEye's exclusive distributor of the Philippines, sent me some pics awhile back of a build they did for a test bike. It's a quick tempered little Spitfire setup with our rigid Stoker fork. So if you're in the area, stop on by and ask nicely and they might let you take her for a spin.

Yuki for us. I'm sure he'll talk your ears off with all the new 2008 items. Thanks again buddy!!!

This past weekend the Westige AVG sprint DH 08 contest went underway. About 100 riders (20 PRO) showed up and we are happy to say that FireEye Rider Petr Tlustos pulled out the win. Congrats!

Check out our photo page to see a couple of highlights from the event or check out the complete action at TBB bike's website. There's at least 100 or so photos of the event so happy browsing.

There's a nice little write-up of our freeride beast, The Griffin, on a pretty cool website that was brought to my attention this past week. We'd also like to thank the guys at Cyklo Planet for setting up the build for the review. So if you'd like to brush up on your Croatian, check out www.dropbike.com for more details. (Judging by the smiley faces, I'm guessing they weren't disappointed).

SHAMELESS VALENTINES DAY PIC
This is what happens when you work with some of the most warped minds in the business and have about a half an hour of free time to burn in the warehouse. Being the Macgyvers that we are here, just by using an old frame box, some scissors, a child's block (not sure why that was lying around), and some choice FireEye components, we made a pretty convincing Valentines Day pic. Anyways, have a Happy Valentines Day none the less.

WATCH OUT HOLLYWOOD, HERE COMES JAKUB
One of our sponsored riders in Czech, Jakub, posted a new video up on his YouTube this past week. It's got some nice video of his performance at the Czech bike show. Check it out and send him a comment. There will also be some pics of him in the photo section of the website pretty soon. Just have to keep myself out of the warehouse long enough to post 'em top.

TESTING, ONE, TWO, THREE... TESTING, ONE, TWO, THREE...
Sounds like everything is working. Hello and welcome to 2008. The eggnog has worn off so things are in full swing here at FireEye. The new 2008 products are coming along nicely with not to many delays. Decided to post a pic of Johnny (above) on the prototype Kirin from this past weekend. It's just a reminder that after winter, trails could have change a bit so be careful. Still looking at early summer for the first production of the Kirins to be finished. Advance orders are going on now. Contact us or your distributor to get yours ordered today.

HO, HO, HO, MERRY CHRISTMAS!
We at FireEye want to wish everybody a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. We'd also like to thank Derek from JustRideNAlong for being in the Christmas spirit and donating a Talon Stem to the Stephen Murray Benefit Night this past thursday. Even more thanks to everyone that attended it and participated in the raffle.
And finally, here's two Christmas reminders:
1.) Watch out for sketchy looking snowmen. Never trust anybody with a corn-cobb pipe...
2.) Don't roast your chestnuts on an open fire. You'll get hurt.
I'm out of here. Watch out egg nog, here I come!

PEDAL PUSHER PARTY - DENVER, CO
Update from Derek in Colorado: On Thursday is the Pedal Pusher Party for Stephen Murray. We have donated a
stem and few other things to help out. I was informed after the poster was
released, so FireEye is not on the poster. (Damn those deadlines!)
As a side note this Saturday is the Just Ride'N Along x-mas party. I am
having a bunch of the local shop over to my house for a product showing, a
house band, and a massive booze infested good time. It may put Vegas to
shame. Come if you can!!!

2007 INTERBIKE
Another tradeshow, another dollar. Back from Interbike 07 in Las Vegas and boy are my arms tired. Good to meet all our US Dealers and hardcore riders who made the trip to the desert oasis they call Las Vegas! And a special thanks again to Derek at JustRidinAlong for all the help with transportation, setup, and tear-down. Not sure if we would have lived if we had done it by ourselves. I'll try and get some pics up on the photos section in the next couple of days of all the new stuff. ...more

Back from another successful year at Eurobike. Thanks to all the riders, shops, and show girls for stopping by and saying hey. Always good to go to these "meet and greet" events. Plus the free beer is nice too. We'd personally like to thank our new Germany Distributor, Manga Sports for their help. Wouldn't have been as good as it was without your help. Still surprised that all that stuff fit in the van. Your a regular modern-day Houdini buddy! ...more

PRODUCT TESTING AT 3,000 feet
Just got back from a "Product Testing" trip. Actually, it's just a good excuse to get out from being the computer and leave the office in the dust. This time we didn't head to the local riding spots but instead we headed up above the tree line. Nothing like heading off into uncharted territory and blazing your own trail. Check out the pics section for a full picture recap. ...more

The SSK Cages
The new SSK Cages are here. This unique single speed kit delivers more than most. Instead of just a couple of single function spacers, we've added two oversized CNCed spacers which run along side the chain to help prevent it from slipping off the cog. The outer three spacers can be switched around to properly fit a plethora of chainline lengths. These kits come in two options; a 12t&13t cogs set or a 14t&16t cogs set and are compatible with standard cassette hubs. ... more
