The 2008 Kirin
The Kirin is the newest steed to the FireEye fold. It has adjustable travel settings for 4" and 5" inches and we've continued to use a front 4130 cromoly triangle and an aluminum rear triangle mix to keep with our philosophy of using the right material for the right job. A low 15" seattube with slacker geometry for ample stand over clearance. As with the Griffin, we've used sealed bearings at each pivot for smooth actuation, a bent top tube for extra standover height, oversized gusseted plain-gauge downtube, and an uninterrupted seattube for superior suspension joint adherence and for longer seatpost clearance. With the Kirin , air out that double, fly around that berm, throw down every trick in your bag, and then some.
Still looking at a projected Spring '08 release.
